Locating A Man of Understanding

Ezra 8:18 (NKJV) “Then, by the good hand of our God upon us, they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel, namely Sherebiah, with his sons and brothers, eighteen men.”

Devotional Thought

Every great destiny needs men and women of understanding around, for the smooth and timely accomplishment of the divine assignment. Accomplishing an incredible feat could be challenging and frustrating, when those surrounding you need help understanding you and your tasks.

When God commissioned Moses to build the tabernacle, He also brought people like Bezalel and Aholiab, whom He had filled with the spirit of understanding and wisdom, to assist him.

Ezra being a law teacher must have studied Moses’ life; hence in pursuing his mission, he knew he couldn’t go far without a man of understanding. Thus, he sought a man of understanding.

Here is Ezra’s testimony, “Then, by the good hand of our God upon us, they brought us a man of understanding….” It didn’t take time to locate a man of understanding, because of the good hand of the Lord upon them.

Right People are not Scarce.

Often right people are not scarce, and not even far from us; we only need to engage the proper means of locating them. You don’t need men to locate the right man; you need God. Ezra engaged the hand of the Lord to find a man of understanding; in fact, the man was brought to him.

This year, the man who understands you and your peculiar situation shall be brought to you, in Jesus’ name. Watch it! What you are looking for shall begin to look for you by the operation of God’s hand, in Jesus’ name.

This year, your vision will attract men and women of understanding, in Jesus’ name. Right people shall choose to partner with you, and be ready to work with you in accomplishing your assignment, in Jesus’ name.

Please, as you continue your journey this year, don’t forget that the hand of God is at work in your life. Wherever you need assistance, engage the hand of the Lord, and watch your testimony released.

Let’s Talk About It.
