Prayer Points for August 2025

Romans 8:9 (NKJV) “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.”

The Spirit of Christ:

The Holy Spirit is not only the Spirit of God but also the Spirit of Christ, uniquely reflecting the nature and mission of the Son. As the Spirit of Christ, He brings believers into a profound relationship with Jesus, enabling them to identify with Him fully and share in His divine life.

Christ’s work on the cross secures our adoption into God’s family, but it is through the Spirit of Christ that this adoption becomes personal and experiential. The Spirit enters our hearts to assure us of our belonging, giving us the confidence to approach God not as distant or an unapproachable, but as our loving Father. He empowers us to cry out, “Abba, Father,” expressing a deep sense of intimacy and connection with God.

The Spirit of Christ also equips believers to walk as Christ walked—living lives that reflect His character, authority, and purpose. He empowers us to operate in the realm of the Spirit, where we share in Christ’s victory and inheritance. Through His indwelling presence, we are reminded daily of our position as co-heirs with Christ, seated with Him in heavenly places.

Without the Spirit of Christ, true identification with Jesus is impossible. He is the seal of our relationship with the Son, and the evidence that we belong to Him. The Spirit continually works within us to transform us into Christ’s likeness, ensuring that His life, power, and mission are expressed through us. Through the Spirit of Christ, believers are not just followers, but partakers of His divine nature, reflecting His love, authority, and glory to the world.

As we look toward August 2025, let us seek a fresh outpouring of the Spirit of Christ upon us, empowering and enabling us live like Christ, exhibiting His character and charisma, securing the accompanied blessing for 2025, in Jesus’ name. 

Prayer Points I

1. Let us appreciate the Lord for August 2024, for the wall of defense that surrounded us and members of our family all through the month, in the name of Jesus Christ [Jeremiah 15:20-21 NIV].
2. Let us begin to commit June 2025 into the hands of the Lord, asking for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our lives, our spouses and children, empowering us to live boldly to fulfill the purpose to which He has called us, in the name of Jesus Christ [Acts 2:33 NKJV].
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, we shall be godly, honorable, full of the Spirit of Christ and wisdom, ready and available to take responsibility in the crucial ministry of serving Your purpose and expanding Your kingdom in our communities, cities, countries, and continents, in the name of Jesus Christ [Acts 6:3,5TPT] 
4. Father we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, our stories and testimonies shall be full of signs, astonishing wonders, with all kinds of powerful miracles and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to the will of God, in the name of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 2:4 TPT)

Prayer Point II

1. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, we shall be submissive to the Spirit of Your Son  Jesus Christ, following and flowing with His move, as He prompts and draws us into the place of intimacy with You. We declare and prophesy, that we shall live, lead, and manifest as Your children and as joint heirs with Christ, in Jesus’ name [Galatians 4:6-7]
2. Father, we declare and prophesy, that all through 2025 the Spirit of Christ shall empower our lives, giving us dominion over the flesh, as we are dominated by Your Spirit. We declare and prophesy, that we are joined to the Spirit of Christ, and we belong to Him by creation, redemption, and possession. We prophesy, that as Christ continues to live His life in us, His life-giving Spirit imparts life to us, because we are fully accepted by God, in Jesus’ name [Romans 8:9-10 TPT]
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, the Spirit of Christ shall continually remind us of the suffering of Christ and the glory that was released afterward for our benefits, giving us a more than conqueror’s mentality in the midst of trial, temptation and spiritual warfare, in Jesus’ name [1 Peter 1:10-11 TPT].
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, through the lavish supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ the Anointed One, we shall excel above persecution, limitation, restriction and opposition of the enemy against our God-ordained assignment. We prophesy, that we shall enjoy deliverance, freedom, and liberty to continue passionately, clinging to Christ, so that He will be openly revealed and magnified through us before everyone, in the name of Jesus Christ [Philippians 1:19-20 TPT]

Prayer Points III

1. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, as we go out, we shall always return in the power of the Spirit, and our results and profiting shall be noticeable and unstoppable, in the name of Jesus Christ, (Luke 4:14) 
2. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, Your deep love for us shall prevent our hope from been dashed or disappointed, because You have filled out hearts with Your love by the administration of the Spirit of Christ, in the name of Jesus Christ [Romans 5:5 TPT]
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, we shall keep growing, maturing and manifesting the fruit of the Spirit, as the Spirit of Christ continues to produce in our lives, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, giving us victory over the dictates of the ordinances, decrees, and legislations that are meant to stop us, in Jesus’ name [Galatians 5:22-23]
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, we shall be filled to the overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace, as we continue to trust in You, our Fountain of hope. We declare and prophesy, that the power of the Spirit of Christ shall continually surround our lives with His super-abundance, until we radiate with hope, in the name of Jesus Christ [Romans 15:13 TPT]
