2 Kings 3:15-16

(2Ki 3:15-16 NKJV) “But now bring me a musician.” Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.  16. And he said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Make this valley full of ditches.‘

God’s Hand of Guidance

Divine guidance is one of the treasured assets in the kingdom, because of its significance to the fulfilment of kingdom purpose. Our victory, success, provision, and fulfilment in life depend on it. Thus, Bible men and women do not joke with divine guidance.

The three kings of Judah, Israel, and Edom were stranded on their way to conquer Moab, because their water supply had run out, and they needed water to feed their men and the animals that accompanied them. They called Prophet Elisha to assist them in securing God’s guidance, because in their days, prophets are the custodians of divine direction. But today, because of what Christ has done, all believers have access to divine guidance.

When the prophet came on the scene to assist them, he revealed a very important dynamics of the prophetic. The prophet could not bring divine guidance, until the hand of the Lord came upon him. So, there is no, “Thus says, the Lord,” without the operation of the hand of the Lord. When God’s hand of guidance came upon the prophet, it showed him what God is saying concerning the situation at hand.

The story of success, victory, fulfilment, and prosperity in 2023 will not be a reality, except in connection with divine guidance. God’s hand of guidance must be engaged in all our endeavours, leading us to victory and fulfilment. For this reason, we shall be entreating and engaging God’s hand of guidance, for July 2023 in this prayer.

Prayer Points I

1. Let us begin to appreciate God for July 2022, for His marvellous deeds in our lives, families, offices, communities, cities, countries, and continents, in Jesus’ name.
2. Let us begin to commit July 2023 into the hand of the Lord, inviting Him to assume His place, as the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, in Jesus’ name.
3. Let us declare and prophesy, that at every junction in our journey in 2023, God’s hand of guidance shall show us the way, and guide us aright, in Jesus’ name
4. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, we refuse to be stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears; we shall not resist the Holy Spirit, but we shall be submissive to His leading, as He guides us to the place of destiny, in Jesus’ name (Acts 7:51).
5. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, whenever we turn to the right hand or the left in our businesses, ministries, careers, and projects we shall see the hand of His guidance and hear the voice of His guidance, saying this is way walk in it, in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 30:21)
6. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, God’s hand of guidance shall rest upon us guiding us, in the spirit, leading us to where miracles, testimonies, and breakthroughs are waiting for us, in Jesus’ name (Ezekiel 37:1)

Prayer Points II

1. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, God’s hand of guidance shall bring us by the way we did not know and lead us in the paths we have not known, turning darkness to light before us, and making crooked things straight in our lives, to experience God in a new dimension, in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 42:16).
2. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, through the operation of God’s hand of guidance, we shall connect with men and women, that have role or part to play in the fulfilment of our destinies, in Jesus’ name (Exodus 4:14, 27)
3. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, by the working of God’s hand of guidance, we shall locate and connect with every individual, that is relevant to what God is about to do in our lives and that of our children, in Jesus’ name (1 Samuel 9:15-17).
4. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, anyone carrying the oil for our next level, or holding the key to our new office, shall be guided by the working of God’s hand of guidance, to locate, identify and fulfil their assignment in our lives, in Jesus’ name (1 Samuel 16:1, 12).
5. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, by the working of God’s hand of guidance, we shall step into our inheritance, connect with our Boaz everything prepared for goodness of our destiny, in Jesus’ name (Ruth 2:1-3)
6. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, by the working of God’s hand of guidance, our household shall be marked for turnaround testimonies of supernatural visitation, in Jesus’ name (Acts 11:12-17)
