2 Corinthians 10:6 (NKJV) and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
The new birth does not guarantee a battle-free life, but it always gives an assurance of victory. It is written that whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is our victory, even our faith. You are born of God to overcome the world and its wickedness, and your victory is rooted in your faith.
You are not born to go through life as a victim but as a victor. When you come to Christ, there is a shift in the spirit; the power changed hand. You are not supposed to be the oppressed any longer; you are to begin to crush the regime that formerly oppressed you.
It is time to begin to walk in the consciousness of whom you were born to be in Christ. Your new birth experience makes you a partaker of Christ’s order of power and authority. Every attempt of the enemy to make you live less than God ordained is equivalent to disobedience against God’s order and plan.
You must not take any disobedience against God’s will for your life lightly; you must rise with authority in Christ and enforce obedience by the power of the Holy Spirit. God will not do for you, what He has empowered and commanded you to do. You have been commanded to revenge all disobedience.
This is not vengeance against flesh and blood; it is vengeance against every force of the enemy, attempting to frustrate God’s purpose for your life. He wouldn’t ask you to do it if He had not empowered you.
You have within your reach the weapon that is not carnal but mighty in God to pull down strongholds, to cast down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
Meanwhile, your obedience must be fulfilled to deal comprehensively with all disobedience. Obedience is acting on what you believe or doing as you were commanded. May you comply fully with God’s word and may the enemy of your destiny submit to you this year, in Jesus’ name.
What will you do this week to address areas of disobedience in your life?
Father, I receive grace to walk in complete obedience to Your instruction, in Jesus’ name.
