Can God Make Me a Better Person?

God is an expert in transforming life and destinies of men. It will amaze you, how much God is willing and ready to take you in, make you a better person, and give you a better life. My life is a good example of what God can do with a messed-up life. He took me from a path of destruction and set my feet on the path of life. If you will give Him a chance, He will change your life drastically for His glory.

Got Some Questions?

Your worst sin has already been paid for it is not an issue with God. He is not counting your sins against you, because the blood of Jesus has been shed for you. God is only waiting for you to come and receive His provision for the salvation of your soul. Here is what the word of says concerning your sins

“For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.” (2Corinthians 5:19 NLT).

If you go to hell today, it will not be because of your  worst sin, it will be because you did not accept God’s provision for the salvation of your soul.

The Bible says, “But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” (Isaiah 64:6 KJV)

Your moral upbringing can never match up with God’s standard of morality. So your morality or righteousness cannot earn you any mark in God’s sight. It is like filthy rags before Him. The Bible says, “There is none righteous, no, not one.” “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3: 10, 23 ).

Jesus did not come to save the saints, He came to save sinners. If you can stop sinning by your own power, then you won’t need a Saviour. He came because of your sin, and died because of your sin, but resurrected to make you righteous.

“And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Luk 5:31-32 KJV)

Sin is basically rebellion against God’s will. There is no one without sin, because the bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However, there are those whose sins have been forgiven. These are the people who have accepted God’s offer of forgiveness and as such are free from the consquences of sin.

Yes there are consequences of sin. The scripture declares that “the wages of sin is death”. Death in this context speaks of spiritual death which is separation from God, but can lead to eternal death in hell, if a man does not reconcile with God before he dies physically.

“For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 KJV)

Believe the Gospel and confess Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

The Bibles says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9–10)

You can begin a relationship with Christ today by simply praying the prayer below by faith:

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. I confess that I am a sinner, I repent today; forgive me all my sins. I confess that Jesus is the Son of God; He died for sins, and resurrected the third day for my justfication. By my confession I open my heart, Jesus Christ, come into my heart, come and be my Lord, come and be my Saviour. Thank you Lord for saving me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you have prayed that prayer, I congratulate you, because Christ has accepted you as His own. Your new life begins in Christ right now. Please share your testimony with us at info@pastorrotimi.org

Make the following Five things your lifestyle as you continue in your relationship with Christ.

Spend time in the word of God daily.

You need to spend time in the word of God daily, it is the food that your spirit needs for strength and growth.  The bible says, “Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” (1Pe 2:1-2 KJV)

Speak to God in prayer daily

Prayer is an important aspect of your walk with God. In prayer you speak to God, and position yourself for God to speak to you.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 admonishes us, “Pray without ceasing.”

Share fellowship with other believers

“not forsake the assembling of yourselves together, as is the manner of some” (Hebrews 10:25). Find a bible believing church near you and start attending and fellowing with the body of believers there.

Submit to your spiritual leaders

Take heed to the teachings you receive from the leadership of your church it will help you to grow in your relationship with Christ. The bible says, “Give ear to your spiritual leaders and be willing to do what they say for their work is to watch over your souls.” (Hebrews 13:17)

Share your faith with others

Let your friends to know about your relationship with Christ. Share with them, and let God use you to bring your friends to Christ also.

“One of the two who heard John [speak], and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is translated, A Stone).” (John 1:40-42 NKJV)
