Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV) “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
The area where we always have challenges with God, is the area of our thoughts. God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His ways are higher than our ways. One of the many commands given to man, after salvation experience, is the renewal of his mind.
The Bible says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” There is a need to embrace the mind of Christ, to rub mind with the higher thoughts of God, if we must enjoy unlimited possibilities.
A new way of life starts with a new way of thinking. Unlimited possibilities begin, with a possibility mentality. Possibility must have been established in the mind of a man, before it becomes the reality of his life. Likewise, there can be no impossibility on the earth, unless it has been rooted in the heart.
The Bible says, as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Can we begin to work on our thought this week? Let us begin to exchange our thought, for God’s thought, by taking in, His word into our heart.
We need to delete all those registered words of impossibility, and replace them, with God’s word of possibility. The negativity that dominated our thoughts, through those words and names, that men and circumstances had called us, should be deleted, and be replaced by, the thoughts of God, from His word.
When God told Abraham that He will give him a child through Sarah, he laughed in unbelief. Zachariah likewise questioned the angel, when he receieved God’s thought about Elizabeth having a child in her old age. These people’s minds have been messed up, by the prevailing circumstances of their lives.
Meanwhile, when they embraced the thought of God, they experienced the possibility, at the disposal of His word. The thought of God for you this week, is the thought of unlimited possibilities, your prevailing circumstances notwithstanding, you shall enjoy supernatural turnaround, in the name of Jesus Christ.
What can we do when our thought clashes with God’s thought on any issues?
Father, let Your thought of peace, become the reality of my life this year, in Jesus’ name.
