[Hebrews 9:14 NKJV] how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 

The Eternal Spirit:

The manifestation of the Holy Spirit as the “Eternal Spirit,” speaks to the divine, timeless nature of the Holy Spirit, who is integral to the redemptive work of Christ, and to the life of believers. In Hebrews 9:14, the “Eternal Spirit” is highlighted as the one through whom Christ offered Himself as the perfect, sinless sacrifice to God. This act of atonement was not limited by time or circumstance, but it is eternal in its power to cleanse the conscience from dead works and enable believers to serve the living God. The Eternal Spirit is the one who empowers this ongoing work of sanctification, enabling believers to live lives that are continually renewed by God’s grace.

Romans 12:1 calls us to respond to God’s marvelous mercies, by presenting ourselves to God as a living sacrifice. This act of devotion and service can only be possible by the assistance of the Eternal Spirit, who empowers us to live in holiness, experiencing all that delights God’s heart. The “reasonable service” mentioned in this verse acknowledges, that such a commitment is in line with the eternal, ongoing work of the Spirit within us. The Eternal Spirit does not only cleanse and sanctify us, but also sustains us in our daily walk of devotion and service to God.

Together, these passages reveal that the Eternal Spirit is not only the agent of Christ’s sacrifice, but also the continual presence and power of God that shapes and sustains our lives, guiding us into a life of holy service and worship. As we look towards December 2025, let us earnestly seek a fresh outpouring of the Eternal Spirit, empowering us to offer ourselves to God as a living sacrifice all through the new year, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Points I

1. Let us appreciate the Lord for December 2024, for the wall of victory that surrounded us and members of our family all through the month, in the name of Jesus Christ [Zechariah 2:5 NABRE].
2. Let us begin to commit December 2025 into the hands of the Lord, asking for a fresh outpouring of the eternal Spirit upon our lives, our spouses and children, empowering us to live a life of sacrifice which is acceptable to God, in the name of Jesus Christ [Acts 2:33 NKJV].
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, through the eternal Spirit, we shall respond properly to God’s marvelous mercies, surrendering ourselves to God as His sacred, living sacrifices, living in holiness, experiencing all that delights God’s heart, in the name of Jesus Christ [Rom 12:1 TPT]
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, no spirit of Pharaoh shall succeed in preventing us from offering the best of our services and sacrifices to You. We declare and prophesy, that no power shall prevail in hindering us from going far, and going overboard in our service in the kingdom, in the name of Jesus Christ [Exodus 8:28 NKJV]

Prayer Point II

1. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the power of the eternal Spirit, we shall prevail against every power commissioned and assigned to hinder us from serving You with our time, treasure and talent. We declare and prophesy a wholehearted service and sacrifice for the purpose of the kingdom, in the name of Jesus Christ [Exodus 10:24-26 NKJV]
2. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the wisdom and guidance of the eternal Spirit, we shall offer to You by faith a more excellent sacrifice in accordance with our righteous nature, pleasing You all through the year, in Jesus’ name [Hebrews 11:4 NKJV]
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, through the assistance of the eternal Spirit, the sacrifice of praise to Your name shall continually rise from us, and from the fruit of our lips shall thanksgiving flow consistently to You, in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare and prophesy, that we shall continually walk in generosity, doing good and sharing with others, since such sacrifices are well pleasing to You, in Jesus’ name [Hebrews 13:15 NKJV]
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the assistance of the eternal Spirit, we shall serve You, and You will bless our bread and our water. You shall take sickness away from our lives and family, and no one shall suffer miscarriage, or be barren among us, and the number of our days shall be fulfilled, in the name of Jesus Christ [Exodus 23:25-26 NKJV]

Prayer Points III

1. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, through the help of the eternal Spirit, we shall serve You with joy and gladness of heart, and we shall enjoy the abundance of everything You can offer, in the name of Jesus Christ [Deuteronomy 28:47-48 NKJV]
2. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the administration of the eternal Spirit, we shall always choose You above everything and everyone, and serve You both individually and corporately as a family. Our service, devotion, worship and commitment shall be reserved for You alone, in the name of Jesus Christ [Joshua 24:15-16 NKJV]
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the power of the eternal Spirit, we shall obey and serve You, and we shall spend our days in prosperity and our year in pleasure, in the name of Jesus Christ [Job 36:11-12 NKJV] 
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the help of the eternal Spirit, we shall serve and follow You, and we shall always be where You are throughout the year, serving You, experiencing and enjoying the honor of serving Your purpose, in Jesus’ name [John 12:26 NKJV]
