[Luke 1:35 KJV] “And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”

The Power of the Highest:

The manifestation of the Holy Spirit as “the power of the Highest,” reveals His divine ability to accomplish what is humanly impossible. In Luke 1:35, the angel Gabriel explains to Mary that the miraculous conception of Jesus, the Son of God, would occur through the overshadowing presence of the Holy Spirit. This emphasizes the creative and transformative power of God, working in a manner beyond natural laws to bring forth the incarnation of Christ. The term “power of the Highest,” signifies the supreme authority and might of God, operating through the Holy Spirit to fulfill His redemptive plan.

This manifestation does not only demonstrate God’s sovereignty, but also highlights the Holy Spirit’s role as the enabler of divine purposes. By overshadowing Mary, the Holy Spirit initiated the fulfillment of prophecy and the unfolding of God’s plan for salvation. This event underscores the Spirit’s power to intervene in human history with transformative outcome, showing that His presence brings about both the extraordinary and the deeply personal, bridging the gap between heaven and earth. The “power of the Highest” assures believers that God’s Spirit continues to work in mighty and miraculous ways to accomplish His will.

As we look toward May 2025, let us seek a fresh outpouring of the Power of the Highest upon our lives. May the Holy Spirit empower us with the ability to birth the impossible, and accomplish the impossible task and do exploit for the glory of the Lord in 2025, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Points I

1. Let us appreciate the Lord for May 2024, for the wall of peace that surrounded us and members of our family all through the month, in the name of Jesus Christ [Isaiah 26:1 JUB].
2. Let us begin to commit May 2025 into the hands of the Lord, asking for a fresh outpouring of the Power of the Highest upon our lives, our spouses and children, in the name of Jesus Christ [Acts 2:17 NKJV].
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, the Power of the Highest shall rest upon us, enabling us to birth Your purpose, plan, will, and move in our communities, cities, countries, and continents, enforcing and expanding Your kingdom to the uttermost part of the earth, in Jesus’ name [Luke 1:35]
4. Father, we declare and prophesy the termination of barrenness, fruitlessness, delay in childbearing, and miscarriages in our biological and spiritual family by the Power of the highest, in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare and prophesy miraculous conception both biologically and spiritually all through 2025, in the name of Jesus Christ [Luke 1:35]

Prayer Point II

1. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, the Power of the Highest  shall continue to dwell within us, empowering us to produce, possess, generate and create wealth, establishing the covenant of the Most High God in our lives, in the name of Jesus Christ [Deuteronomy 8:18] 
2. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the Power of the Highest, we shall be a great people possessing, manifesting great power, and enjoying giant share in our field, industry and nation, in the name of Jesus Christ [ Joshua 17:17]
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the Power of the Highest, we shall do great exploit, making and producing goods and services of the highest quality by Your great power and stretched out arm, and nothing shall be too hard for us to create and make happen, in the name of Jesus Christ [Jeremiah 32:17]
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, we shall excel above a consumer lifestyle by the power, wisdom, and discretion of the Holy Spirit. We shall be responsible contributors and producers of goods and services that reflect the nature and the quality of the Power of the Highest, in the name of Jesus Christ [Jeremiah 10:12]. 

Prayer Points III

1. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, we shall enjoy both riches and honor, we shall reign, rule and enjoy dominion in our career, business, ministry, assignment, investment, purpose, pursuit and project. We shall be great, increasing in strength and influence by the power and might of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ [1 Chronicles 29:12]
2. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, we shall be full of power by the Spirit of the Lord, and of justice and strength to boldly declare Your counsel, will and word wherever and whenever we find ourselves, in Jesus’ name [Micah 3:8]
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, the hand of the Lord shall rest continually upon our lives through the ministry of the Holy Spirit and we shall excel in strategies and speed above our companions, contemporaries  and competitors and we shall overtake and outrun those who have gone ahead of us in the market place, in the name of Jesus Christ (1 Kings 18:46).
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, through the greatness of the Power of the highest, the enemies shall submit themselves to us in the name of Jesus Christ [Psalms 66:1-3]
