[Rom 1:4 NKJV] “And declared [to be] the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.”

The Spirit of Holiness:

The manifestation of the Holy Spirit as “The Spirit of Holiness” is directly linked to the divine power that confirms Jesus as the Son of God, especially through His resurrection from the dead. In Romans 1:4, Paul describes how Jesus was “declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of Holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.” The Spirit of holiness is the source of the purity and divine nature that distinguished Jesus, empowering His resurrection and affirming His identity as the Christ.

The Spirit of Holiness is not only foundational to the resurrection of Jesus, but it also sanctifies believers, leading us to live in purity and righteousness. This manifestation of the Spirit marks the distinctiveness of God’s work in Christ and in the lives of His followers, setting us apart for God’s purposes. The Spirit of Holiness brings divine transformation, enabling us to reflect the holiness of God in our lives, as we walk in the power of the resurrection, and live out our calling as the children of God.

The manifestation of the Holy Spirit, as “The Spirit of Holiness,” refers to the divine and righteous nature of God, which is imparted to Jesus Christ, and through Him, to believers. In Romans 1:4, the Spirit of Holiness is associated with the power by which Jesus was declared the Son of God, signifying His divine nature and His victory over death, through resurrection.

The Spirit of Holiness does not only affirm the purity and sinlessness of Jesus, but also represents the transformative power of God’s righteousness that sanctifies and sets apart those who belong to Him. It is through the Spirit of Holiness that we are made holy, empowered to live lives of purity, devotion, and service. The work of the Spirit of Holiness is central to the Christian experience, as it enables us to reflect God’s character and pursue His will in our lives.

As we look towards October 2025, let us seek a fresh outpouring of the Spirit of holiness upon us, empowering and enabling us to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord all through 2025.

Prayer Points I

1. Let us appreciate the Lord for October 2024, for the wall of salvation that surrounded us and members of our family all through the month, in the name of Jesus Christ [Isaiah 60:18 NKJV].
2. Let us begin to commit October 2025 into the hands of the Lord, asking for a fresh outpouring of the Spirit of holiness upon our lives, our spouses and children, empowering us to live a godly and holy life, in the name of Jesus Christ [Acts 2:33 NKJV].
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the help of the Spirit of holiness, we shall embrace and celebrate divine correction, instruction and discipline, accepting the invitation to share in Your holiness. We declare and prophesy, that we shall accept discipline and correction no matter how painful, for we desire to see a transformation of our character, and a harvest of righteousness and peace in our lives, in the name of Jesus Christ [Hebrews 12:10-11 TPT]. 
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the help of the Spirit of holiness, we accept and embrace our calling into a life surrounded in holiness, and reject a life of compromise and perversion. We declare and prophesy, total submission to God’s authority and celebrate His Spirit of holiness, His precious gift to us, in the name of Jesus Christ [1 Thessalonians 4:7-8]

Prayer Point II

1. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the power of the Spirit of holiness, we shall remain and maintain a single-hearted devotion towards You, and we shall love You deeply as a bride loves a bridegroom, in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare and prophesy, by the enablement of the Spirit of holiness, we shall follow You closely in season and out of season. We shall remain as the firstfruit of Your harvest, set apart as holy and belonging to You, and anyone who devours us shall suffer disaster, in the name of Jesus Christ [Jeremiah 2:1-3 TPT]
2. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, by the empowerment of the Spirit of holiness, we shall not surrender our bodies and souls to impurity and lawlessness, but to righteousness, leading deeper into true holiness, in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare and prophesy, that we are no longer slave to sin but slave to righteousness, and we are free from any obligation to sin, in Jesus’ name [Romans 6:19-20 TPT]
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, through the help of the Spirit of holiness, we shall serve without the fear of man or the enemies, in holiness and righteousness before You all the days of our lives, in the name of Jesus Christ [Luke 1:73-75]
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, we shall live in joyous freedom from the power of sin, living and enjoying the benefits of righteousness, advancing deeper into the experience of true holiness with a guarantee of eternal life, in the name of Jesus Christ [Romans 6:21-22 TPT]

Prayer Points III

1. Father we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, through the assistance of the Spirit of holiness, we shall be found and abide on the pathway, the highway of holiness, and no impurity shall be found with us, in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare and prophesy, that we shall live with joy and rejoicing, and we shall be crowned with everlasting joy, and weariness and grief shall disappear from us, in the name of Jesus Christ [Isaiah 35:8-10 TPT]
2. Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, we shall celebrate Your promises, and our deepest respect and worship shall increase. By the power of the Spirit of holiness, we declare and prophesy the removal and destruction of everything that contaminates our body and spirit, and we embrace a continuous development of holiness within us, in the name of Jesus Christ [2 Corinthians 7:1 TPT]
3. Father, we declare and prophesy all through 2025, we shall be continually transformed, as we consistently embrace the glorious Christ-within, as our new life, and live in union with Him. We declare and prophesy, that we are recreated in Your perfect righteousness, and we belong to You in the realm of true holiness, in the name of Jesus Christ. By the help of the Spirit of holiness, we prophesy, that every form of dishonesty and lying shall not be identified with us in 2025, we shall be known as one who always speak the truth, in the name of Jesus Christ [Ephesians 4:24-25 TPT].

Father, we declare and prophesy that all through 2025, through the assistance of the Spirit of holiness, our hearts will be strengthened in holiness, and we shall be flawless and pure before Your face at the appearing of our Lord Jesus with all His holy ones, in Jesus’ name [1 Thessalonians 3:13]
