Psalms 66:3 (KJV) Say unto God, How terrible [art thou in] thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.
Power is very significant to the fulfillment of dreams and destiny. No one ever fulfills destiny without some level of empowerment. For example, Jesus came with a great assignment to save humanity from sin, but He could not step into destiny, until God empowered Him. The apostles were warned never to step out as witnesses for Christ, until they were endued with the power of God from on high. Thus, we must trust God to empower us for fulfilment, in all our endeavors in life.
Beyond fulfilling God-given assignment, power is needed to confront the enemy. We need the power to confront and conquer Satan and his demons, in their operations against the fulfillment of God’s agenda for our lives and generation.
Often, the delay and negative occurrences in a believer’s life are satanic, which takes power to break. The Bible reveals, that it takes power for the enemy to submit to God and His will. Psalms 66:3 (KJV) “Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.”
If it takes power for the enemy to submit to God, it suggests the only language the enemy understands is the language of power. Thank God power, is part of our redemptive package, but we need to constantly seek more as we advance in our journey of faith. This month as God answers our prayers for empowerment, every resisting force of the enemy shall submit and bow, in Jesus’ name.
