In todays’ devotional we shall see how the story continues despite the effort of the enemy to put an end to it.
Mark 16:4 (KJV) “And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.”
Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, witnessed the burial of Jesus Christ on Friday. They saw a great stone rolled against his grave. On Saturday, when they visited the grave, the state was the same. As they were leaving their houses on Sunday, to go and anoint His body, they said among themselves, “Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher? But the bible says, “And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.”
This is very close to your testimony this week, in Jesus’ name. Whatever has become a major concern in your life shall be miraculously resolved, by the invisible power of the Most High God, in the name of Jesus Christ. The obstacle you keep seeing, you shall see no more, in Jesus’ name.
The stone stands as a big full stop on the story of Jesus in their lives. It echoes a sound of finality, as if change is impossible. But when they got there that day, they discovered that the big stone has been rolled away. The full stop was removed, and the story continues. Never accept man’s decision as final, when you don’t have any tangible proof of God’s conclusion on an issue.
Imagine if these women have given up, judging by what they saw on Friday and Saturday, they would have denied themselves of the miracle prepared for them on Sunday. You will not miss your miracle this week, in Jesus’ name. Those who have concluded your case, when God is still working on it, will soon cover their face in shame, Jesus’ name. Your friends and loved ones who have witnessed the tragic parts, are about to watch the most exciting part of your story, in Jesus’ name.
What attitude should we maintain in the face of adverse situation?.
Father, let every obstacle to my miracle be crushed, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Do you find yourself sometimes wearied, with no strength to continue your journey?
