As believers in Christ, we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. But what exactly are these blessings? At first, it may seem unclear, but as we dig deeper into the Word of God, we can begin to understand these blessings and how to access them.
Spiritual blessings are not something we have to work for or try to attain. Instead, they are products of God’s inspiration. The New Testament for Everyone renders, Ephesians 1:3 as “…He has blessed us in the king with every spirit-inspired blessing in the heavenly realm.”
These blessings include every good and perfect gift, whether it be spiritual, material, or financial. As we see in the Bible, healings, deliverances, salvation, and provision were all inspired by God’s Spirit.
The good news is that the same Spirit that inspired these blessings dwells within us as believers. We can begin to walk in the reality of these blessings by following the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
So, how do we access these blessings? It starts with believing and confessing the truth that we are already blessed in Christ Jesus. Our blessedness is not based on our bank accounts, but rather on our connection with Christ. As we continue to confess and believe this truth, we open ourselves up to receive the Spirit-inspired blessings that God has for us.
Let us remember that as believers in Christ, we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. These blessings are not something we have to strive for, but rather something that comes through God’s inspiration. By confessing and believing the truth of our blessedness in Christ and following the prompting of the Holy Spirit, we can access the abundant blessings that God has for us.
What steps can you take to walk in the reality of these blessings?
Father, I receive grace to be more sensitive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name.
