The article “Discover the Truth: You and God” highlights important information about our relationship with God that is often overlooked or not discussed enough. It emphasizes God’s unconditional love for us despite our sins, His desire for us to be saved, and the role of Jesus Christ in our salvation. It also emphasizes that our only condemnation is refusing to accept God’s offer of salvation through Christ. The write-up concludes with a prayer for those who are ready to accept God’s offer of forgiveness and salvation.
(John 8:32 NKJV) “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
You cannot make the right decision in life without access to correct information. I’m writing a resource of information to help you make the right decision about your life. When you discover the truth, you will realize you ought to have decided for God a long time.
Although God hates sin, your sin cannot stop Him from loving you. He loves everyone in the world, including you, though He is aware of the sinfulness and iniquities in the world.
(John 3:16 NKJV) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(Rom 5:8 NKJV) But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
God is ready and willing to forgive and save you while you are alive, but if you die in your sin, there is nothing more that God can do than send you to the place of torment.
(Eze 18:23 NKJV) “Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord GOD, “[and] not that he should turn from his ways and live?
(Luke 15:7 NKJV) “I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
Many people want to stop sinning before they give their lives to Christ. If you can stop sinning by yourself, you will not need Christ. Christ came as your deliverer to deliver you from sin and the devil. Your victory is in coming to Jesus with your sin and receiving forgiveness and deliverance.
(Rom 6:22 NKJV) But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and, the end, everlasting life.
(Philippians 2:13 NKJV) for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for [His] good pleasure.
What if I tell you that God is not counting or holding your sins against you? The Bible reveals that God is not mad with you and is not counting your sin against you. There is no sin that you have committed that God is counting against you because He has punished Christ for it and forgiven you in Christ. So, it is not what you have done that will take you to hell; it is what you refuse to do. The moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour, every sin you have committed will be forgiven and forgotten.
(2 Corinthians 5:19 NIV) “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.”
Every other sin in your life remains unforgiven because you refused to believe and accept God’s offer of salvation through the sacrifice of His Son- Jesus Christ. You are not condemned for what you have done in the past; you are only condemned because you refused to believe and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
(Mark 16:15-16 NKJV) And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16. “He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.
(John 3:18 NKJV) “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Repeat the prayer below if you are ready to accept God’s offer of forgiveness and salvation.
Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. I confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died for my sin and rose on the third day for my justification. Today by my confession, I open my heart to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, come into my heart; come and be my Savior and Lord in Jesus’ name. Thank you for saving me, in Jesus’ name.
If the above prayer expresses your sincere desire to surrender your life to Christ, we would love to assist you with your next steps. Could you share your testimony with us, and we will send you material to help you get started?
