Prayer Points for March 2023

Acts 11:19-21

(Act 11:19-21 KJV) “Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only. 20. And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus. 21. And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed and turned unto the Lord.”

God’s Hand of Great Increase

The growth and the expansion of the early church was attributed to the operation of the hand of the Lord. It was not their eloquent preaching, though the preaching is important, but without the mighty hand of God, their effort would amount to nothing.

The apostles recognized this truth, and it reflected in their prayer, they prayed that, “by stretching out Your (God’s) hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” (Acts 4:30). The Lord answered their prayer, such that wherever they go, the hand of the Lord was with them. Great number turned unto the Lord, through the stretching forth of His great hand.

You don’t want to invest in any project or business, that is void of the hand of the Lord. Peter and the rest of the fishermen toiled all night and caught nothing, because the hand of the Lord was not involved. When Jesus came on the scene and gave them the direction for great increase, the story changed. The bible says, “And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.

Everything Responds to God’s Hand

It is not only great number of men, but even great number of fish will also respond to a man, when the hand of God is with him. They caught so many fish, more than their nets and boat could handle. Where their expertise failed, the hand of the Lord prevailed.

The skills and the expertise of men will not be enough to produce outstanding result in 2023. The best of 2023 shall go to those, who will trust in the operation of the mighty hand of the Lord. It is not going to be “…by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

For this reason, we are entreating and engaging the hand of the Lord, for great and outstanding increase in March, and throughout 2023.

Prayer Points I

1. Let us exalt the name of the Lord, for His mercies and marvellous works, which He wrought in our lives and families in March 2022, in Jesus’ name.
2. Let us begin to commit March 2023 into the mighty hand of the Lord, entreating God for His mighty deeds and great increase for 2023, in Jesus’ name.
3. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, by the operation of the mighty hand of the Lord, great things, and unsearchable, marvellous things without number shall be recorded in our lives, families, ministries, businesses, and professions, in Jesus’ name (Job 5:9-10)
4. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, by the mighty hand of the Lord we shall be fruitful, and productive both spiritually, materially, and financially; and a great number of men and women shall be obedient to the faith, seeing our results and hearing our testimonies, in Jesus’ name (Acts 6:7)
5. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023 by His mighty hand, the Lord our God shall make us to abound in all the work of our hands, and in the fruit of our body, and the profit of our labour. The Lord shall again rejoice over us for good, as He did in the years past, in Jesus’ name (Deuteronomy 30:9)
6. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023 by the mighty hand of the Lord, we shall wax great, we shall go forward and grow, until we have become very great having great possession of blessings and great rewarding relationships, in Jesus’ name (Genesis 26:13-14)

Prayer Points II

1. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023 by the mighty hand of God, our little steps shall produce incredible results; with small effort, we shall achieve great feats, and we shall never be intimidated by the size our projects or assignment, for the hand of God shall prevail in our lives, in Jesus’ name (1 Samuel 14:13-17).
2. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023 whatever we touch shall excel, prosper, blossom and flourish; our insignificant input shall generate unbelievable output, by the operation of the hand of the Lord, in Jesus’ name (Judges 15:14-16)
3. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023 the success and greatness of our lives, shall be traceable to the operation of the hand of the Lord, we shall not glory in what human hands can achieve, but in what the Lord can do, in Jesus’ name (Judges 7:2,7).
4. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023 our results, profits, achievements, and exploits shall prove the greatness of the hand of the Lord, and no man shall share the glory that belongs to God in our lives, in Jesus’ name (Judges 7:2,7)
5. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023 the hand of the Lord shall prevail against the enemy of our great increase, and the fruit of our labour shall no longer be wasted by the operation of the Midianite spirit, in Jesus’ name (Judge 7:2, 7)
6. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, everything in our hand shall be turned into the rod of God, producing signs and wonders, swallowing up the rod of the wicked, prevailing over obstacles, in Jesus’ name (Exodus 4:17)
