Prayer Points for May 2024

(Psalms 122:7-8 NKJV) “Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces. 8. For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”

(Song of Solomon 8:10 RSV) “I was a wall, and my breasts were like towers; then I was in his eyes as one who brings peace.”

The Wall of Peace:

The Wall of Peace safeguards against confusion, crisis, war, conflict, fear, and distress. It ensures nothing is missing, broken, or stolen from among God’s people (Job 5:24). God’s thought towards His people is the thought of peace, and His covenant with them is a covenant of peace (Jeremiah 29:11; Isaiah 54:10). And because He is a covenant-keeping God, He will go to any length to secure the peace of His people. You cannot see God’s people in trouble or crisis, unless they reject God, who is their wall of peace. However, the wall of peace is always restored once they return to the Lord (2 Chronicles 15:3-5).

The presence of peace means many things to the people of God. Peace attracts prosperity, and provides the right atmosphere for progress. The state of the economy does not matter; when God establishes a wall of peace around an individual or family, they prosper despite famine. You remember Isaac in Gerar; despite the famine in the land, he prospered and continued prospering, until he was established in prosperity. Notwithstanding the famine and the opposition, Isaac prospered in the land because there was an invisible wall of peace around him (Genesis 26:1-31). What God did for Isaac, He is ready to do for us today, because we are like Isaac (Galatians 4:28)

Thus, for May 2024, we are securing our wall of peace. There shall be nothing missing, nothing broken or lacking in our lives, families, businesses, careers, and ministries in 2024, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Points I

1. Let us appreciate God for May 2023 for His hand of completion that granted us testimonies of the successful completion of all our projects, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Let us begin to commit May 2024 into the hands of God, asking Him to establish the wall of peace around our lives and families all through 2024, in the name of Jesus Christ (Psalms 122:7-8)
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, our wall of peace shall stand strong and firm around us and members of our family, and nothing shall broken, stolen, or missing in Jesus’ name (Psalms 122:7-8; Job 5:24)
4. We declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, we shall not disconnect from the Lord our God, or despise the teachings of His words; we shall continually turn to Him, seek and find Him, resulting in peace within our walls, in Jesus’ name (2 Chronicles 15:3-5)
5. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, our wall of peace shall be strong and solid like the mountains, bringing peace to us and members of our families, in Jesus’ name (Psalms 72:3)
6. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, no adverse economic situation shall be able to weaken our wall of peace; we shall prosper and continue prospering until we are established in prosperity, in Jesus’ name (Genesis 26:12-13)

Prayer Points II

1. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, while the world may be complaining of gross darkness, we shall be singing of great light and glory; while they may be murmuring about falling and casting down, we shall be testifying about rising up, in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 60:1-2)
2. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, our wall of peace shall prevail against evil beasts, no sword shall go through our wall, and we shall lie down, and none will make us afraid, in the name of Jesus Christ (Lev.26:6)
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, we shall have an advantage over our enemies; we shall chase them, and they shall fall by the sword before us, in the name of Jesus Christ (Lev. 26:7-8)
4. We declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, the bars of our gates shall be strengthened, our children shall be blessed among us, and peace shall abide within our borders, and we shall enjoy abundance of God’s provision, in Jesus’ name (Psalms 147:13-14)
5. We declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, by the power of the Holy Spirit, our ways shall be pleasing to the Lord, and our wall of peace shall not be tampered with, causing our enemies to be at peace with us, in Jesus’ name (Proverbs 16:7)
6. We declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, our minds shall not be distracted from the Lord and His words, and our peace shall remain uninterrupted or corrupted, in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 26:3)
