2 Chronicles 30:12 NKJV

(2 Ch 30:12 NKJV) Also the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, at the word of the LORD.

God’s Hand of Empowerment

There is nothing the Lord has asked us to do, that we can do without His input. The willingness and the ability to do His will, come through the working of His hand in our lives. The Bible says, “Also the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, at the word of the LORD.”

The working of God’s hand enabled Judah to perform as the king directed, according to the word of the Lord. This reality is reinforced in the New Testament, when Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, tells the Philippians that, “for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for [His] good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13).

God will always empower His people to do His will and fulfil His purposes for their lives. He accomplishes this, by the operations of His empowering hand. When God’s hand of empowerment falls on individuals, they are enabled to do, and accomplish things, that they would not normally be able to do or accomplish, through natural power or vocation. This reality is not restricted to man; when God’s hand of empowerment rests on objects, they are empowered to perform incredible accomplishments.

The Bible is replete with astonishing testimonies, of God’s hand of empowering at work. For example, Elizabeth was enabled, to bear a child in her old age. Elijah was empowered, to outrun the chariot. Don’t forget Moses’ rod, and Samson’s jawbone of an ass. These are only a few of the wonders of God’s empowering hand. As a result, for September 2023, we will be entreating and engaging God’s hand of empowering for our lives, enabling us for a life of exploit, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Points I

1. Let us exalt the name of the Lord, for His mercies and marvellous works, which He wrought in our lives and families in September 2022, in Jesus’ name.
2. Let us begin to commit September 2023, into the mighty hand of the Lord, entreating God for His mighty deeds and great increase for 2023, in Jesus’ name.
3. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, through the working of God’s hand of empowerment, we shall be enabled to will and to do, according to the will and purpose of God for our lives, in Jesus’ name (Philippians 2:13, 2 Chronicles 30:12)
4. Let us declare and prophesy, that by the operation of God’s hand of empowerment, we shall excel in strength over sins and temptations, that might come along our paths in 2023, in Jesus’ name (Genesis 20:6)
5. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, the Lord shall be our strength and power, and through the working of His hand of empowerment, He shall make our ways perfect, and make our feet like the feet of deer, setting us on our high places, in Jesus’ name (2 Samuel 22:33-34)
6. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, that through the operation of God’s hand of empowerment, our hands shall be empowered for victory at war, and our arms shall be enabled to destroy the weapon of the wicked, in Jesus’ name (2Samuel 22:35)

Prayer Points II

1. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, the Lord shall give us the shield of His salvation, and empower us for greatness, through the wonders of His hand of empowerment, in Jesus’ name (2 Samuel 22:36)
2. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, through the working of God’s hand of empowerment we shall be armed with strength for battle, and empowered to subdue our enemies under our feet, in Jesus’ name (2 Samuel 22:40)
3. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, by the working of God’s hand of empowerment, we shall be lifted up above those who rise against us, and we shall prevail over violent men, in Jesus’ name (2Samuel 22:49).
4. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, by the working of God’s hand of empowerment, we shall be enabled with the capacity and capability for wealth creation, fulfilling God’s covenant of prosperity, in Jesus’ name (Deuteronomy 8:18)

Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, by the operation of God’s hand of empowerment, we shall be enabled to offer so willingly, both materially and financial to kingdom causes for the expansion of His kingdom, and the growth of His work across the nations, in Jesus’ name (1 Chronicles 29:12-16)
6. Let us declare and prophesy, that in 2023, by the operation of God’s hand of empowerment, we shall be entrusted with wealth, and empowered with a generous spirit, willingly giving to the Lord, leading others to a lifestyle of generosity, in Jesus’ name (1 Chronicles 29:17-18)
