Ephesians 2:13-14 (NKJV) “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.”

The Wall of Separation:

The wall of separation distinguishes us and the world. It separates us from the world and consecrates us to the Lord, making us fit for God’s glory and kingdom service. Until we were saved, this wall separated us from the Commonwealth of Israel, the covenant of promise and from the God of heaven. But through Jesus’ sacrifice, the wall was broken down, granting us access to everything we were separated from (Ephesians 2:11-18).

The wall of separation distinguishes between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not. (Malachi 3:17-18). There was a wall of separation that exempted God’s people from the destruction, diseases, and death in the land of Egypt. Within the same nation, two groups of people had two different experiences; one was protected, while the other was exposed to plagues. It is only those who stay within God’s wall of separation that can survive the evil of the day.

The state of the economy does not matter; a man surrounded by God’s wall of separation will always have a different experience. Isaac stayed in Gerar under an economic crunch, but his results differed from those of the Philistines. The Bible recorded that he prospered and continued prospering until he was prosperous. The Philistines thought the secret of Isaac’s exceptional prosperity during the famine was the wells but later discovered that the Lord was the wall around his life and endeavour.

It takes a man within God’s protective wall to testify of a lifting up while others complain about casting down. We don’t want to go into 2024 without ensuring the wall of separation is established around our lives and family. Thus, for September, we are praying to establish the wall of separation for 2024 in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Points I

1. Let us appreciate God for September 2023 for His hand of empowerment that gave us unusual testimonies in every area of our lives, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Let us begin to commit September 2024 into the hands of God, asking Him to establish the wall of separation around our lives and families all through 2024 in the name of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:13-14)
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, our wall of separation shall stand strong and firm around us and members of our family, exempting us from diseases, destruction, and death, in Jesus’ name (Exodus 8:22)
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that Your presence shall go with us into 2024, and it shall be evident that we and members of our families have found grace in Your sight, and we shall be separated from others by unusual testimonies through Your marvellous works in Jesus’ name (Exodus 33:16)
5. Father, we declare and prophesy that for us and members of our family, our stories and experiences shall be different from others in 2024, it shall be a year that flows with milk and honey, and we shall inherit and possess every blessing of 2024, in Jesus’ name (Leviticus 20:24)
6. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, Your wall of separation shall separate from our lives any relationship that may limit, implicate, or incriminate our destiny, in the name of Jesus Christ (Genesis 13:11)

Prayer Points II

1. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, the wall of separation shall prevail over any connection or association blocking our vision, hindering us from seeing what You have prepared for us, in Jesus’ name (Genesis 13:11)
2. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, we shall not be disqualified, abandoned, or rejected we shall be vessels of honour sanctified, separated and fit for the Master’s use in Jesus’ name (2 Timothy 2:19-21)
3. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, the blessings of the Father God shall prevail over the blessings of our earthly fathers, and the blessings shall rest upon our lives and on the crown of our heads through the working of the wall of separation, in Jesus’ name (Genesis 49:26)
4. Father, we declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, by the workings of the wall of separation, we shall be distinguished by righteousness, stand out through kingdom service, and be exempted from wickedness, woes, and worries, in Jesus’ name (Malachi 3:17-18)
5. We declare and prophesy that throughout 2024, through the operation of the wall of separation, we shall not suffer with the world; when men are cast down, we shall be singing there is a lifting up. Our career, ministry, business, project, and assignment shall be delivered by the pureness of God’s hand, in Jesus’ name (Job 22:29-30).
